Afshin was born on May 6th, 1978 in a pleasant coastline city of Caspian Sea in Iran.
Since childhood days, his heart was turbulent like the waters of the deep sea, until in his teens, by learning how to play the guitar, he composed his first song called "The Lonely Child" (Koodakeh Tanha).
His love for simple and needy people caused him to be able to feel their pain and therefore sing of love, poverty, and sad days of war and being nomads.

His immigration to Europe in 1995 marks the peak of his sensations and emotions, for in the loneliness of sad days of exile, he found comfort only in playing his old guitar, and it was in those days that he turned his exile story into a song called ("Scent of Rain" Booyeh Barun).
Afshin is step into the professional world of music in 1999. His simple folk songs, plus his different style of music, have made it possible for this young singer to capture the hearts of Iranians all around the world.

Dariush was born in Tehran on February 4, 1951 and spent his early years in Mianeh, Karaj and Kurdistan.  His talent was first recognized at an early age of nine, when he appeared on stage at his school.  Hassan Khayatbashi introduced him to the public at the age of twenty through Iranian Television.  He immediately became popular with his legendary song, “ Do Not Tell Me  I Love You ”.  His contemporary and unique style opened a new era in the Iranian music.

Dariush has never compromised his deeply held beliefs.  Whether he sings poems of Shamloo and Naderpour or lyrics of Janatti-Attaei , Ghanbari and Biat   the one theme that runs through all his music is that of love, peace, freedom and justice.  In post-revolutionary Iran, there was no place for Dariush’s art.  By necessity, he left his native land and now lives in United States with his wife and seven-year old daughter.
His body of work consists of over 200 songs in 25 albums .  He has had sold-out performances in concert halls around the world notably Wembley (London), Carnegie Hall (New York), Kennedy Center (Washington DC), Koncertos (Stockholm), Greek Theater (Los Angeles) and Universal Amphitheater (Los Angeles).  Dariush has also explored the art of images and has acted in two films, Yarran and Faryadeh Zireh Ub .
Dariush's music and message has gone beyond his own culture.  The Arab world, with its rich musical culture, has embraced Dariush with great enthusiasm.  In a recent International Festival of Music Video and Tele-Media held in Bahrain, Dariush was recognized as the sole representative of contemporary Iranian music.  He was awarded the highest Peace Trophy. In the closing ceremonies of the Festival, Dariush sang of freedom, particularly in his homeland, Iran.

Singer, Songwriter and Producer Faramarz Aslani is admittedly a rare phenomenon in the Iranian modern music. He writes his own lyrics & music, and he sings them accompanied by his stylish guitar playing.

He is a graduate of London University's College of Journalism and has written for several Persian and English publications, since his graduation in the early seventies.

Upon returning to his native country, he worked for one of two English dailies, "Tehran Journal" until he was spotted by the President of CBS, in Tehran.

His first album, "Occupation of The Heart", recorded for CBS in 1977, has remained on the best sellers chart since it's debut.

He also recorded a second album, "Hafez, a Memorandum", for the same company. In this album he wrote music on eight poems of Hafez, Iran's most famous poet and mystic.

After the 1979 revolution in Iran, he took his family back to England, where he worked both as a journalist and a musician. Faramarz has two daughters, Phaedra and Roxana, from his previous marriage. They are both successful artists, as well. Their latest album has been a hit in the United Kingdom.

His first tour of the United States began in 1992, when he opened at the Shrine Auditorium and was received by an eager and excited audience.

About his latest album he says: "these songs are the addition of all the sweet and bitter memories of my life."

"Days of Songs and Sorrow" is a magnificent album. The lyrics are deep and captivating yet simple to absorb. The vocals are warm and sincere. At times, the artist's guitar becomes an inseparable element of this intricate work of art. A fan wrote: "He sings with a passion that makes you fall in love and makes your heart ache!"

The songs are quite diverse, both in style and content. This is what makes Faramarz Aslani distinct.
